This website is dedicated to hundreds
of local communities involved in ecological restoration in New Zealand. It contains
news, events, opportunities for volunteering, information about native species
and ecosystems, weeds and pests. There are practical tools to help restoration
projects and native plant nurseries.
The website is owned by NZERN,
and the information on it is edited by Bush Telly.
Hosting is provided by ERIS.
Statistics
This web site has 22,000 pages, gets 35,000 visitors and 750,000 hits per month
(March 2006).
Members Area
50,000 pages are available in a members only area which has improved features.
The forums will return in July 2007 for all members to discuss issues about
restoration projects. We will provide web hosting for members including the
use of GIS to map restoration projects. Available from
late July 2007
