Seed Cuttings
Easily propagated from seed, although that does not allow you to determine the sex. Taking cuttings during flowering does allow you to do this. Easy to establish. |

Comments |
You can also take cuttings in October, when the Clematis is in flower, allowing you to determine the sex of the plants. Stem cuttings with a node at both the base and the top are the most successful. You can also use tip and internodal cuttings. Cuttings can be difficult to root.
