Seed Comments |
The berry is green before it is mature, and is 4-6 mm long. The fruit is fleshy when ripe, and when it dries, it looks like a capsule. The seeds are tan, henna to dark red-brown. Seedlings are very susceptible to Pythium. The seed stays on the tree for months. The seedlings have very strong taproots, so transplant as soon as ready.
