Seed Comments
The seeds are black, and about 2 mm. long. Water the soil well before sowing, and sow thinly as seedlings are prone to Botrytis and cover with glass. Don't water again, or the seedlings will damp off. Also watch for slugs and snails.

Comments
Use two forks to separate the plants as the roots are fleshy. You can take a medium sized clump, which will be mature in 1 year. You can divide it again in 2-3 years, and the strike rate is good.
Dispersal Method
Winter. Spring.
