Seed Comments |
The circular, wrinkled seed is 2-2.5 mm long. It is henna to red-brown or dark brown to black-brown. The birds love the ripe seeds, and you can collect slightly immature seeds, or take frequent field trips to collect ripe seeds. The seed needs to be well dried. Treat with a fungicide. Aristotelias hybridise. When collecting seed, make sure that the other species is not near by.
