The fruit splits into 2 1- seeded parts. The parts are 8-12 mm long, and dull or semi-glossy, with ribs. Seed can also be cool-moist stored for early spring sowing. If not stratified, germination can take 2-3 years. If dry stored, soak in warm water for several hours prior to sowing.
