Comments |
High up on the ranges, the restoration and protection of this area helps with water quality and accelerated runoff into the flood-prone Waipa River. The surrounding forests of tawa and rimu contain many of our endangered forest birds - kokako, kiwi, falcon and kaka - and the house acts as a base for predator control for the area. |
