Pipi 2003/05 Information Plan Workshop
NZERN is preparing a 2 year development plan for its computer program "Pipi" which drives the website www.bush.org.nz. NZERN also wishes to share data with other agencies in order to benefit conservation of our ecosystems. A workshop so that potential users of this data can have their say. Pipi Update
A series of major upgrades to Pipi are now underway. These are being made very quickly to fix some problems clearly identified in the current series of Pipi Information Plan Workshops being held around NZ.

Restoration Directory
The regional Restoration Directories are due to be commercially printed in August and then mailed out as many groups, libraries, govt agencies and nurseries as possible.

Can people who have final editing copies make sure revisions are posted back to the NZERN Office by end of July.

Fundraising
A big thankyou to MFE & DoC for providing an additional $29,080 for NZERN's Biodiversity Advice Service.

Projects funded include the National Training Conference in Wellington in November 2003, more field days and an upgrade of the popular restoration roadshow to bring it up to professional standards.
