The Banks Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust are looking for keen outdoor people to join a Restoration team set up by the Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust.(BPCT). This group will help eradicate noxious plants and animals pests in covenanted areas,and take part in ecological restoration projects.

11/04/2003 Website A Maori keyboard application is now available to make it easier for people to use Maori language on the computer.
Members are also very welcome to submit notices, articles and other information in Maori and other languages apart from English. Just copy and paste as usual in your password area.
The software requires Windows 2000 or later.

13/04/2003 User Forum The first on-line forum is now ready - its for people to discuss what native plants are suitable for planting depending on site conditions. It can be found as part of PlanterGuide.

Anyone can visit the forum and look at the questions and answers. But to post a question or supply an answer you first need to log on with your username and password and look for forum in "My Office".
Next week other forums will be up and running for people growing native plants, and creating habitat for native birds.
