Hi folks
Have a nice time over Xmas.
Kereru will return in January 2003. Any notices etc have been held over till then.
2002 has been a busy year for the network. Volunteer staff have been averaging 100 hours per week working on services provided by NZERN.
The breakdown is roughly:
* 50 hours on building Pipi (NZERN computer system).
* 30 hours collecting information useful for folks with a restoration project.
* 10 hours providing training
* 7 hours answering Helpdesk enquiries.
* 3 hours fundraising, paying bills, meetings.
A skeleton crew will be working away on Pipi over the next few weeks and the help desk will be checked each day for urgent enquiries.
2003 gets even busier. We hope to provide more training, a better help desk, easier ways for you all to make contact and help each other. There is heaps to do!
Thanks very much everyone for your patience, and for the hardwork put in by so many people - who are already very busy with their own restoration projects.
