Bush Telly Trustees needed

Keen trustees are needed for the television, radio & publishing arm of NZERN. Membership of NZERN is not required but a proven passion for conservation is.

Do you have television or radio experience?
Are you hooked on writing and publishing?
Do you love using your camera to photograph natural areas?
Do you know where to find money and sponsorship?
Love teaching people?
Can you run a 7 day a week operation to a tight schedule with high standards?

The trust will be responsible for producing large amounts of practical information to help private land owners, Maori organisations and community groups protect, maintain and restore areas of native habitat.

The trust will be producing training videos & documentaries, an Internet radio station, editing of material going onto the www.bush.org.nz website, The Bush Telegraph, Restoration Directories, Kereru & Kowhai, display material and pamphlets.

The trust board will be meeting 4 - 6 times per year and there will be a lot of work involved outside of the meetings. There is also an existing pool of volunteer staff currently producing this information who are to become members of this trust.
