7. NZERN News

8/09/2002
NZERN Office
The office has been shifted to a new temporary location. The layout is now a lot more professional and features a "control room" wall of monitors for the help desk/TV production. There is room for 5 volunteers to work at the same time. The shifting of "Pipi" will be completed on Sunday 15th September.

Thanks Ryan, Edith, Simon for help with the shifting....

8/09/2002
Pipi Update
Denise Ford (Travis Wetland Trust) has been hard at work writing the help files for "Pipi" users. Denise also writes the "Pipi User" and "Pipi Manager" emails sent out each month. If you have questions about how to logon and use Pipi you can use the help desk found on every page at the top. You can also send your questions to the office. Denise will do her best to put answers to your questions in the help files found under "FAQ" on every page and at http://www.bush.org.nz/support...

8/09/2002
Bush Telly
Next week, the Bush Telly Trust gets its new digital video editing suite.

The funding for this has come from WWF World Wide Fund for Nature. The suite will use Adobe Premier 6.5, Sound Forge and means the crew can start editing the tons of footage that they have recorded over the last few months. Initially training videos will be produced plus some "Bush Telly Specials".

Thanks WWF...
