More major revisions to the website last week with 90% of the previous web
pages now replaced with a much tidier version. This job will be completed

be fixed over next 2 weeks....

Website
A very big thank you to Manaki Whenua - Landcare Research for providing
NZERN with a 2nd free website. This site will have a capacity of 400Mb and
will be used to store a planned archive of 20,000 image files suitable for
web browsing.

Images like:
Photo reference points of restoration sites.
Documenting the community participation in restoration.
Stock images of native plants and animals.

Thanks again Greg, Greg and Adam for all your help in making this happen....

14/07/2002
NZERN Office
Due to circumstances totally beyond our control, any email sent to the NZERN
National Office on Friday (12th), Saturday (13th) or Sunday (14th) morning
last week never arrived and has been permenantly lost in the uncharted
vacums of cyberspace!!.

You would not have got a "bounce" message iether. If it was important please
send it again
Thank you...

14/07/2002
GIS
The NZERN GIS Team are making great progress getting 500 small maps ready to
go onto the website in late September. Most have had to teach themselves to
use ArcGis 8. A prototype is currently being worked up by Anna Mason and
Ryan Young.

Great work people....
