NZERN 2007 National Conference
Sunday, 18 November 2007 Meeting at Travis Wetland Education Centre, Beach Rd, Burwood, Christchurch A one day conference has been called to enable NZERN members to get together to discuss where NZERN is headed. It is open to all NZERN members. Priorities for discussion will be finalised on the day by participants but will include:
- Demonstrations of how easy it is to logon to the website, update personal details, change passwords and use the forums.
- A review of the suggestions made at the 2007 Restoring the Drylands Conference and the planned 2008 Conference on Rural Restoration.
- Organising Field Days using the $10,000 funding recieved.
- Regional Editors, editorial standards and information cataloging.
- Improvements to Kereru, using the Events Manager to update the calendar.
- Improvements to PlanterGuide.
- Membership recruitment, branches, the Help Desk and financing NZERN.
- NZERN's constitution and Long Term Plan. Agenda
