NZERN 2007 National Conference Sunday, 18 November 2007 Meeting at Travis Wetland Education Centre, Beach Rd, Burwood, Christchurch A one day conference has been called to enable NZERN members to get together to discuss where NZERN is headed. It is open to all NZERN members. Priorities for discussion will be decided on the day by participants but will also include: - Demonstrations of how to use the website - A review of the suggestions made at the 2007 Restoring the Drylands Conference and the planned 2008 Conference on Rural Restoration. - Field Days - How NZERN is organised - Promoting community participation in ecological restoration - Financing NZERN - Publishing useful information - How NZERN is organised - Improvements to Planterguide Agenda 8.30am: Set up meeting room 9am: Welcome 9.10am: Discussion 12 noon: Lunch 1pm: Discussion continues 4pm: AGM. Tea and coffee will be provide. Please bring a plate of food for a shared lunch. All members are encouraged to use the forums to express their opinions and raise issues they want raised at the conference.
