1. NZERN NEWS
Office Hours
The Office will be closed from Saturday October 13 till Wednesday October 24. The office will reopen at 9am on Thursday October 25.

Kereru
There will be no Kereru sent next week. All back isues of Kereru since 1998 can now be seen on-line at http://www.bush.org.nz/kereru/

Forums
There are two public viewable forums at http://www.bush.org.nz/forum/
Use the General Restoration Forum to talk about your restoration project and whats going on. Use the Pipi User Forum to get assistance with using Pipi, report bugs and request new features.

NZERN Members login
All members are welcome to login to the members only website and have a look around. To recover your passwords, enter your email address at http://www.bush.org.nz/support/forgotpassword.html to get a password emailed to you. Then login at http://www.bush.org.nz/support/login.html

When you login, you will get 25 minutes before your session times out. If that happens, just login again and carry on. At the moment, you can change your password, update some of the information about your self, subscribe and unsubscribe from the forums, and look at the forums. People who have a professional edition will be able to add messages to the forums. People with a standard edition can look but still can't add messages. I'm sorry but I just ran out of time getting it finished before going on hoilday to Stewart Island for 10 days. Nothing is going to keep me away from that bit of paradise. When I get back on the 24th, I'll finish it off so you can all use the forums. Many other hidden features will then follow thick and fast.

Testers needed
We need some keen members who would like to be the first to try out the new features and help decide how they should be finished to make them easy to use. You need to be prepared to login, try stuff out and give clear written feedback.

Cheers
Mike
