2. NZERN NEWS
A new
website has been launched for the volunteer computer programers who are
working on PIPI. So far it contains over 1700 pages of detailed technical
information about how PIPI works and the international standards it adhears
to. Over time, articles about PIPI currently on the www.bush.org.nz website
will be shifted to the new www.pipi.bush.org.nz website.
The open nature
of the new website will help recruit more skilled volunteers, foster
collaboration with other organisations over common standards and exchange of
data, and give many people an idea of the tremendous potential for
conservation that PIPI could provide.
This website is being updated daily
as PIPI is worked on.
more technical information about PIPI is available
