13 August 2007 6:0 AM
Kereru is a weekly NZ e-mail for all community participants and
organisations about ecological restoration. Help bring back our natives.
Kereru is available at

Welcome to Kereru.

1. NZERN NEWS
Next weeks Kereru will explain how
all NZERN members can obtain their passwords, how to log in to the new
members only area, and use the on-line forums.

The ERIS team have been
logging in and testing the new setup in as many ways as possible. The Bush
Telly crew will get password access in a few days to test the on-line
forums.

A very large number of free web-based services will be made
available to all individual and group members of NZERN. It is planned to add
about five of these services each week, starting with the ones most people
will use most often. Details will be provided in Kereru each week.

If you
have questions about this, it would be very helpful if you could wait till
you can access the forums to have your say.

For those who are curious,
screen shots of some of these services can be seen at:
http://www.help.bush.org.nz/eng/standard/index.html

Everyones patience is
greatly appreciated.
