A lot of work has been done around the country on the intranet project. The biggest challenge now is to stop and write a "document" clearly laying out what needs to be done and how. This can be done by the Tech support team. The other pressing need is a computer for NZERN. It currently uses the computers of individual members but this leads to problems of viruses (often) because of the volume of email the office gets, and conflicts with other programs being used by these members. Kereru production is often affected, which is why it is late. NZERN also needs to put the databases "live" on a server for members to access directly bypassing the office and getting rid of a bottle neck. We have a firm offer of free hosting. To do this we need to obtain an NT 4.0 box. Any suggestions or offers!.
