2004 Annual Meeting of the New Zealand Plant Conservation Network

Description

This event is being sponsored by the Auckland Regional Council and the Department of Conservation.

The conference is to be held at Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens. Speakers include Ewen Cameron, Kevin Prime and Hugo Baynes. Workshops are to be held on the threatened plants of Auckland, on indigenous fungi and on threatened plant translocation. There will also be an opportunity to tour the botanic gardens.

A field trip to visit threatened plant sites in Auckland will be run on Sunday 8th August.

There will be an area for displays (including posters and other materials such as publications). Please contact us if you wish to bring and install a display at the conference.
