| Canterbury Conservation Day Held this year at the Motukarara Nursery Waihora Park on the 13 of April 2003.
The theme this year is "Down by the sea" and will focus on the Canterbury
Coastline: guest speakers and workshops will cover subjects such as marine mammals and
seabirds, coastal forest protection and enhancement, tsunami and sand dune rehabilitation.
