There are many exciting restoration projects occurring throughout the Wellington Region. To provide an opportunity for groups/individuals to share resources, knowledge and experience, the Department of Conservation (with support from local Councils and WRC) are keen to facilitate the establishment of a network of groups/individuals in the urban areas of Wellington and Kapiti Coast.

We would like to invite people interested in establishing a network to attend a workshop in February. The workshops will provide a forum for building a shared network of community groups, local authorities and agencies.

Mike Peters will be speaking on how NZERN has developed and what will be happening in the future to enable groups to manage their own projects.
